Refund policy
Xtreme Swim offers a 30 day refund policy on eligible products!
If at any point in the 30 days after your initial order you decide you don’t like what you purchased, and your purchase is eligible for return, you can send it back to us for a return or exchange. Please read through our policy, and then contact us if you have any questions. We want to be as helpful as possible, but like any good relationship, it takes communication.
As noted below and on product pages, items that are customized - logo'd suits, embroidered items, custom name caps, etc - are customized to order and not eligible for return. Please double check sizing before ordering, and contact us with any questions. We're happy to help!
General Return Policy
We accept refunds and exchanges on all products except the following:
- Custom embroidered, Team Logo'd or special order items
- Items that have been used in the water
- Merchandise that is no longer in its original condition, including products that have been used or modified.
- Grab bag items
- Items marked as Final Sale or Clearance
- Technical suits
Items returned in original condition will be refunded in full less any incurred shipping costs. If items are returned with missing or damaged tags or packaging up to a 15% restocking fee may be applied. If your order originally qualified for free shipping and the return puts the order subtotal below the promotion threshold, the cost of our lowest shipping option will be deducted from the refund.
Initiating a return
To complete your return, we require either a paper or electronic receipt. To initiate a return you may bring it back to us in the store, or contact us to begin the process of shipping it back. If returns or exchanges need to be shipped, the customer will be responsible for any shipping charges to/from our store. (Unless we messed up your order. Then we take care of it.) We offer return shipping labels at merchant rates upon request.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will call or send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Approved refunds will be processed promptly and applied to your original method of payment. Items returned in original condition will be refunded in full minus initial shipping fees. If items are returned with missing or damaged tags or packaging, up to a 15% restocking fee may be applied. If you ask us to provide a shipping label for return, the cost of the shipping label will also be deducted from the return. (We won't penalize you for handling exchanges and returns, but USPS still wants to be paid if you mail things back.)
If we find an item is returned to us in a condition that disqualifies it for return based upon our general policy, the customer will be responsible for return-to-sender shipping costs. If the customer does not agree to pay for return, we will discard the item.
Exchanges
If you need to exchange your purchase (and it is eligible per our return policy), please place a new order for the size / color you would like and contact us to begin a return of your previous purchase.
Defective Products
If you find that an item has a defect from the manufacturer, you may return or exchange it within 30 days - just get in touch with us. After this period you will need to contact the manufacturer according to any product warranties they may have. We can help guide you through this process if you have questions.
Items that have been damaged by improper customer use are not eligible for return or exchange.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive store credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver (meaning they’ll be notified of your return.
